What to do in Bohol, Philippines

The place is known for three things: Chocolate Hills; Tarsiers; and breathtaking beaches. In a second glance, a tourist will learn about a lot more about Bohol. It would be cave pools, great food, diving, interesting souvenirs and the nicest people in the world.

A few days was not enough to savor the culture and the beauty of the place. But nothing is impossible with a strong will.

Where to Stay: 
Paseo del Mar is the place!
It was difficult to find a place to stay that is convenient for all the activities. But this resort gave us everything we needed. It is located in Jagna, Bohol. The place offers a beach front accommodation and has a diving shop.

HOW TO GO THERE:
Option 1: From Tagbilaran City take a tricyle or a bus to ICM, a mall nearby the terminal of buses and vans. Take a bus and ask the driver to drop you in Paseo del Mar. The place is known to the locals also.

Taxi rate from Tagbilaran Port to ICM: 100 Php
Bus Rate from ICM to Paseo: 85 per pax for an aircon bus

Option 2: Rent a scooter or a car. Use google maps and voila!

WHAT TO DO IN PASEO:
1. Diving Lessons.
2. Eat Kuya Jesse's pancake
3. Go to the nearby watering hole- Augustin's Bar and eat the best burger in the world.




DIVING & SNORKELING
Their Equipments are well maintained. The diving site is just infront of the resort and it was vast. Next time, we will return just to dive. Awesome is the word.

Note: The owner and the staff were very helpful. They are willing to answer any question under the sun about what to do in Bohol. You can even go to Bohol without any itinerary just ask.






What to do in Bohol:
1. Book for a Countryside tour. This tour offers site-seeing for everything Bohol is known for. This includes going to the Chocolate Hills, visiting the tarsier sancuary and having lunch in Loboc's river cruise. 

2. Swim and dive in the cave pools.

3. Go snorkeling and diving. Refer to the poster in the resort for dive sites or just ask. 

4. Walk and swim in Anda. Be sure to wear booties and sandals because the shore is covered with rocks. A good footwear will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the beach. 

HOW TO GO TO ANDA:

The resort is just in the side of the road. Buses always pass by the place of just rent a scooter. 

Bus Rates: 40 per pax. rates differ when a bus is with aircon or not. 

5. Eat.

What to eat in Bohol
1. Coconut Burger.
 Only in Bohol. You can find in in Coco Loco, a resto nearby the beach in Anda.
2. The Burger in Agustin's Bar
3. Pancake in Paseo's kitchen
